Dear students, I have hope you have a great spring break! Here is some spring break humor :D

Our main goal today is going to be,1) describing in spoken and written form the place you are going to stay, 2) finding 3 things to do in the place you are going to, and 3) finding the name of the local currency.

To do that, you need to make sure the sites you use are in Spanish, that way you don’t have to translate it from English to Spanish or use google translate.

If you need new words, ask Mr. Page

In your slides, add the following:

• una descripción básica del lugar - you want to read the description, and write what amenities it has

• ¿cómo es? ¿es una casa? ¿un apartamento?¿es moderno/a?¿antiguo? ¿cuántas habitaciones tiene?¿tiene wifi?¿tiene aparcamiento?¿tiene piscina? Read the instructions of the place in Spanish, all the vocabulary is there, use it to describe the place.
• El precio por noche y el costo total - the price each day, and the total cost. "Mi aribnb cuesta 56 dólares por noche, en total cuesta 345 dólares por 4 noches"
• Dónde está ubicado - where is located (¿está cerca de la playa?, ¿está cerca del centro de la ciudad?)  "mi airbnb está ubicado cerca de la playa"
• Una foto de tu airbnb
• El enlace de tu airbnb - keep the URL link of your airbnb, and paste it/embed it, so you can reopen it easily.
• Practice describing the airbnb you are going to stay with a partner. If you are unsure on how to pronounce something, ask Mr. Page or a partner.

• usa google mapas - search for google maps en español, that way you will see the names of cities, and countries in Spanish. Click on the link to take you there.
• Cómo voy a llegar a esa actividad - a pie/andando/caminando/ en bici / en carro/ en metro (subway) / en autobús      "a esta actividad llego en metro"
• Añade una foto - add a picture of the activity into your slides.
• El enlace de cada actividad - keep the URL link of each activity, and paste it/embed it, so you can reopen it easily. If you don't know what is an URL link, google it.
